Well I said BIG changes were coming and they have.

This spring I finished working with artist Pete Beeman on some of his many sculpture projects, and our beautiful metal towers and parts were shipped to Thailand to their new home. This experience was extraordinary and while I’m sad it’s over I am also glad because I have more time for my own work.

Last month Seth (my partner) and I opened an online shop on Etsy, Plithacorn Productions. For years we have both created art for commission but this is our first time in an “official capacity.” We’ve only been around for a month but orders keep rolling in! It’s great to share our skills and work and to get more practice producing on short timelines.

Our end goal is to create a production company that can do everything from ads and graphics ( which makes up most of my free-lance work) to large scale sets and costume design (Seth’s forte). I am fortunate to have a great group of friends in the film and art industry here in Portland, and even though we’ve been here for less than a year, things are already racing in the right direction. 🙂
